NEW REFERRAL FORM: How do I create a referral?

A referral is created in 5 simple steps. We have updated our Referral Form:

On the right side of your dashboard, click the "Create Referral" tab.

You will be guided through each stage of the straightforward process, and there are tooltips on the page to explain each section. Now, it's a one scroll process.

But for your reference, here are the 5 steps!

Step 1: Client Information

Fill in the blanks with the necessary client information.
There will also be a section where you can add any additional notes to help set up a successful referral.

Step 2: Referral Destination Market

Choose a referral location. If your client has very specific preferences, you can even draw a map.

Step 3: Referral Visibility - You can choose between:

Invite (invite any number of users in the destination market to apply)
Direct (send it to a single colleague without requiring an application process)

Step 4: Client Preference

Make a list of all the property features your client is looking for.

Step 5: Contract and Commission Information

Fill in the blanks with the information you want on the referral contract.
You will be asked to provide a nickname for the referral (which will only be visible to you), the referral percentage, and the type of referral (purchase, sale, or rental).

When you're finished, click Create Referral, and your referral will be live!

Agents will not be able to access the final two steps of Managerial Approval Configuration. Instead, your referral will be routed to your Relocation Director for approval, after which they will select the preferred method of referral visibility.

While you are creating a referral, it is automatically saved as a draft. Don't worry if you are interrupted halfway through creating a referral! You won't have to start over; instead, go to your Referral Drafts and continue working on your referral.
